RAINBOW ROOS BOOT LIBRARY

It's no secret that things are tough for everybody at the moment and that's why we have created the Rainbow Roos Boot Library. Aside from the fact that kid's boots are really expensive and almost impossible to get in the small sizes, we know how quickly feet grow too!

As an ongoing commitment, we are going to aim to build up a collection of second-hand boots (and shinpads, shirts etc) for you guys to borrow. There will be no charge at all, all we ask is if you could kindly donate them back to us when they are too small, we can then pass them on to another child.

Until we build up the numbers it will be a first-come-first-served basis, but we do want to support as many of you as possible. But that's where you can also help us...

If you have any old boots lying around that don't fit anymore, we would love to take them off your hands. Or if you know of any friend's children who have had a sudden growth spurt and have had to buy new kit. Or if you see somebody on Facebook giving some away, please either comment or tag us. Or if you are in an op-shop and see a reasonable pair for $5 or less then please grab them and we will reimburse you off your next booking.

As we've always said, we want to be able to create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for everybody. And it may not seem like much, but by ensuring the kids have 'matching' boots not only are we ensuring their safety but we also encouraging that sense of together, belonging and team spirit.

“I'm always trying to improve, to be a better

player than I was yesterday.”

— Cristiano Ronaldo
